Hey My G!

Did you miss me? I miss you too 😊. Let me tell you about my past weeks. Just sit tight and don’t forget to smile.

I had one of the best weeks in April but not without its challenges. It was my time spent in Nigeria and with the people, I love the most. From my first entry to Nigeria, the bus drivers showed their usual self in Lagos driving in crazy ways — you can’t take that from Lagos, I know right?

So, I met some fantastic people in Lagos; people I had deep conversations with such as marriage, finance, career, and life generally. Also, I connected with people who had had an idea of me but eventually met me- it was so surreal to appear in person.

Anyways, some of these conversations I will discuss fully later, just stay tuned. However, let me tell you about something fun I did in Lagos with my wife- For the first time, I walked through the longest canopy in Africa; the Lekki Conversation centre, The canopy walkway features six towers that rise over 22 feet each. They are connected by a series of suspended (and swinging) walkways that offer a unique somewhat harrowing 360-degree view from high above the treetops. The treetop walk stretches about 1,315 feet long more than three and a half football fields, setting the record for the longest on the African continent. It was exhilarating yet fun to kill the fear of height. What is sweet is the fun of seeing people scared and shaking on the canopy, gave me the booster that I was strong. **tongue out**

I want to talk about a conversation I had with a friend, about how you do not feel sad when you read about your age mates doing wonders on LinkedIn? Trust me, I know it can be very depressing. I can imagine you nodding your head in agreement, but you know what? You are also doing great! You are alive for one, it’s also an opportunity to be inspired.

Personally, I count my wins no matter how small, which motivates me to push more — I practice constant gratitude. Take a note and write about everything going on well for you even the littlest things. I also redefined what failure is — I started seeing it as an opportunity to move forward instead of a roadblock stopping me in my path. I have also unlocked the power of contentment, it is such a powerful breakthrough if you would ask me; even Paul my guy in the bible testified to it in Philippians 4:11–13 “Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering in need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” 1 Timothy 6:6–12 “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that

Anyways, let me leave that there, we will pick it up later- By the way, I have been reading “The Psychology of Wealth- Understanding your relationship with money and achieving Prosperity by Charles Richards, PhD.” The book is about why some people feel a perpetual state of lack and fear about money, while others feel genuinely prosperous, regardless of the size of their bank accounts.

Talk to you soon 😊

I am strongly choleric (leader-like), yet deeply sanguine (pleasure-seeking). I value relationships #ExpandCapacity . I am first HUMAN before MAN.
